Modeling data
We are using a hydronumerical model of the entire North Sea to calculate
- tidal dynamics,
- salinity,
- water temperature,
- sea state,
- and inorg. suspended sediment concentration,
in the years 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020.
From this, easily understandable tidal parameters are calculated, such as:
- High tide, low tide, tidal range
- Mean tidal current velocity
- Quantiles of salinity
- Residual sediment transport paths
Simulation data created during the course of the project is made available via an interactive web viewer:
